Heroes (Season 1) Review (Spoilers)

Not too long ago, my boyfriend introduced me to a live action TV series called Heroes. (Note: not the reboot series called Heroes Reborn.) But the original.

It starts with a man named Peter Patrelli who dreams he has the ability to fly and believes he can do it in real life as a result. From there he’s obsessed with finding merit in the dream. From there on the level of WTF is just so high you almost can’t guess what a character will go through until you get really good at coming up with the craziest possible plot twist you can think of.

I really don’t want to spoil too much, because oh my goodness this stuff is just too good to just read about. I recommend this series for any lover of plot twists and chaos out there. Be warned though, there is blood, gore, and violence throughout the series so viewer discretion is advised.

I personally am not a fan of blood and gore, but it is well worth sitting through for the content of the show. A rule of thumb is that if you think something will turn out some way you can almost be sure that it won’t be that.

That said, I don’t want to post too much information or images so all I can say is go watch for yourself if any of what I described in this review appeals to you.

I’ll give this show 5 Horn Rimmed Glasses out of 5. (Watch the show, it will all make sense. 😉 )

Reviewing 2016

Happy Belated New Years guys and gals!

It’s your favorite review blogger finally making a new post! You know, finally. I know it must feel like a year since my last review, so what more fitting way to return than to review the year to prove it didn’t take that long?
It has been a rough year for pretty much everyone all the way around. To everyone there was SOMETHING that they disliked enough to make them curse the whole year.

From the death of Muhammad Ali to the death of Harambe, from the Brexit to the Election of Donald Trump (But I won’t go there in this post, I may weigh in on it later if it’s wanted.) There was always something. But for me personally, it wasn’t a bad year. I went to Disney World and conquered Space Mountain, I went to Ceder Point and won a bunch of games, I graduated High School. Not a bad year.

However I see a bunch of things on Social Media about “Thank God 2016 is over” “Can 2017 be over too? I won’t give it a chance” and above all else that fake trailer for that movie that no one is actually making turning the year into a horror movie (Where were the clowns in that trailer by the way?)

Here’s the video for those who want to see it:

I’ll admit, the part about the exploding phone made me laugh, as well as the subtle “Everyone moved to Canada joke” after Trump won. I still think that might actually happen. I like Canada, I’d love to go there.

But back to the review. Many celebrities died this year, From Severes Snape to David Bowie. It is very sad, but not worth casting an entire year off as a curse over. People die every day, all the time. The fact that someone is well known and has a lot of money should not and does not make it more tragic than the death of anybody else. Case in point.

Harambe was shot, that is terrible and I do not advocate the decision at all. But I understand that there was a time crunch and we as humans naturally take the well-being of our own over any other species. However, I’m surprised by the response from Jungle Jack Hannah of the Columbus Zoo, He approved of the actions of the shooter. I would figure he would at least be a bit more remorseful for the poor creature.

This also concerns the kid too. I don’t know who the boy is, but those that do will never forget. That child will grow up known as the kid who Harambe got killed over. People won’t forget. How do I know? In the 4th grade I got food poisoning and got sick at school. I was made fun of for it all the way to graduation. That was just some ick I did with an audience, while an innocent animal died to protect this child. Yeah, people won’t forget.

Moral of that small rant: pay attention to your kids.

I won’t talk much about celebrity deaths because I lack knowledge on celebrities as a whole. But I do wonder why people are wishing death to Justin Bieber. Yes, he’s a douche, but that doesn’t mean he deserves to die. If being a douche warranted death the human race would have gone extinct years ago.

Now then I should go enjoy 2017 before I have you reading for the whole of it.

Bye guys, I’ll be around again sometime. Have a great day and leave a comment of what I should review next.

Wolf Play Game

Wolf Play Game is a browser based, kid friendly game in which you can start your own virtual wolf pack, breed, hunt, have pups, sell wolves for mushrooms, dig up artifacts and put them together, explore different terrains, and more. Another thing you can do is role-play as whatever you want (within a PG-13 rating.)

I play this game daily and it’s more fun than it looks a face value. There’s a nice community around the game within all three factions (Lightbringers, Darkseekers, and Neutral.) But there’s more about that and other things necessary to know for the game on the site itself.

So if you want something to do to kill time or to procrastinate from writing blog posts, you can play at wolfplaygame.com

But do consider clicking this shiny banner and becoming my referral to help out my pack.
Thanks:

wpad1 - Wolf Play Game

I’ve played for about a month now, so if you need help do not hesitate to ask. My pack in-game is DesAnt, so do come look at my wolves 🙂

That’s about what I have for my blog post, my rating is 4.2 somehow crafted by wolves Greek Pottery, Grecian Urns out of 5.

Tell me what I should review next in the comments down below, as well as leave any tips and tricks for the game for new players. I might do a post with that myself should that be in demand to do. Now with that said, see you hopefully soon, I’ll try to post more, but I do need suggestions lest I be expected to pull ideas out of the air by myself.

See ya! 🙂

Reviewing jacksepticeye!

Top O’ the Mornin’ to ya Laddies! Or whatever time it is you are reading this post at. It’s the Evereviewer back with a new review! This time with the much beloved, and much hated by some, Youtuber known as jacksepticeye. Started in February 2007, jack, or Sean as is his real name, now makes a living off of his YouTube channel. He has over 13 million subscribers and 5 billion total views.

I have been a personal subscriber myself for a bit over a year now. I’ve watched many let’s plays of his, that being his main content. He also occasionally does vlogs, but mainly he is a videogaming YouTuber. He plays a vast variety of games from all types of developers, young or old, established or not. He also plays games from multiple generations, like the old Spyro games, Destroy All Humans, World of Goo, to games more modern like Uncharted 4 and the TellTale Batman series.

As if that’s not enough variety, he also plays games for people of all ages to watch and enjoy, like how World of Goo is a children’s game and how Destroy All Humans is more for adults (though he was a bit bad in this particular series in giving much warning before you saw something mature that told you anyways.)

He also listens to his fans quite well. In his fandom there was a fanmade character which was to be his dark side, Jack apparently liked the idea and featured Antisepticeye for his depute in a Halloween vlog just last month. This shows me that Jack genuinely cares about his fans and is a man of true character.

Jack is a funny guy, entertaining. But, he can also get quite deep and serious, like in the visual novel style game he played long ago called That Dragon, Cancer. It was truly a good game, but a sad one. Within which, Jack remembered his grandmother just before she passed, while it was not from cancer, you could sense the feeling of empathy from him, and I admire him for his willingness to resonate such emotions in front of millions of strangers like he did.

He’s a Jack of All Trades, Pun intended. I can’t speak enough good about him as a person. I know, it seems bias, but I pride myself on being able to see both sides of coins. I can’t think of anything too negative about him worth bringing up that should effect if someone wants to watch him. He swears sometimes? See, I don’t have much. Most of his haterbase hate on his accent of his dyed hair or that fact that he makes money on youtube.

To which I ask, when you watch a movie, should the directors, actors, writers, etc… be paid for their work? If you answer yes, and you should, than kindly don’t say Jack shouldn’t make money for his content, it’s the same premise.

This is why I give jacksepticeye, 5 Sam’s out of 5. 🙂 If you want to go watch him, here’s his channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/jacksepticeye/videos

Well, I’m gonna leave this review here. And if you liked it… PUNCH that Share Button in the face. And I will see all you dudes… In the next Review!

Special Thanks to my good buddy TonyTheTigerGDude for requesting this review, it was really fun to write! 🙂

Amy’s Doughnuts Review

Hi all my faithful readers, I am back from the dead after dealing with some technical difficulties that made my blog unreadable. I had to seek outside help, but good ol’ Raees pulled through for me like I knew he would. If you’re reading this, thanks for the help man. Down in the comments you should thank him too, he’s the reason my whole blog even exists.

Gushing and intros aside, today I want to review Amy’s Doughnuts. I went there not long ago, with my friend and kid brother. They had numerous kinds of doughnuts. Some I’ve never seen or heard of, I’m sure that they made at least some of them up. It’s a very unique doughnut shop.

But there are a couple of pitfalls you’ll want to consider before deciding to make a trip to Amy’s. For starters, and this is the big one that will most likely hider more people: They only have two locations. One is in Columbus, Ohio, the other is in Colorado Springs. Both US only locations. But if you live in Tucson, Arizona USA that is their next confirmed location according to their website: http://www.amysdonuts.com/location-and-hours.html

The pitfall that fell close to home for me, is that they do not have their nutrition information in really any form. Sure, the website tells you that there are no gluten free or vegan doughnuts available. But if you are a diabetic, you have no idea how much sugar is in the doughnut to take your insulin properly and you are left to guess.

Nutrition information should be a must in any establishment that serves food. But I understand that it is a new establishment and is not able to serve all people, even if it should be. So if you aren’t diabetic or have severe food allergies or other medical affliction that makes eating certain doughnuts a no-no, go on in and get a doughnut, but make sure there’s one near you first.

That said, That’s my review. It’s a good place to eat, provided you can. and I rate this establishment 3.5 Over The Rainbow Doughnuts out of 5.
